2023 Nissan Altima Preview

The 2023 Nissan Altima is back for another model year — and it’s undergoing an extreme makeover. The Woodlands Altima fans are in for a treat with the 2023 Nissan Altima redesign, as this Nissan sedan has cosmetic upgrades and serious equipment changes. 2023 Nissan Altima Redesign: Performance

One of the most exciting changes for the 2023 Nissan Altima that has Spring drivers drooling is the available 248-hp VC-Turbo 4-cylinder engine. This is the world’s first Variable Compression Turbo engine. When you press the gas, the cylinders and pistons move to create a lower compression ratio, like a long-distance runner sprinting during the last 500 meters of a race. As you begin cruising, the engine switches to a higher compression ratio, like a runner putting it in cruise control to conserve energy for that final sprint.

In addition, the new Altima features the Altima Xtronic CVT with Sports Mode. This Continuously Variable Transmission has wider gear ratios, leading to a smoother-shifting, laid-back drive. Alternatively, engaging Sports Mode combined with Dynamic step shifting makes you feel like you’re shifting in a manual to give you that explosive feeling. Intelligent all-wheel drive allows you to drive in unfavorable conditions and remain safer than ever before.

2023 Nissan Altima Visual Upgrades

So what else is new with the 2023 Nissan Altima? The Altima received a facelift with plenty of new exterior features.

• Redesigned Front End. A more aggressive-looking front end has the Altima looking like anything but the average Conroe sedan.
• New Shoes. The Altima has 19-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels that fill the base out, giving this sedan a muscular look.
• LED Headlights. These LEDs look sharp in the daytime and turn heads at night.
