KEY 370Z COUPE ADVANTAGES
- Available Downshift Rev Matching (A/T) – 370Z’s Downshift Rev Matching momentarily raises engine rpm when downshifting in manual mode to provide smoother downshifts and a sportier sound and feel. Camaro does not offer this feature.
- More sophisticated front suspension (double-wishbone vs. independent strut) – 370Z’s double-wishbone design provides more control over vertical movement of the tires with less inward or outward tilt than Camaro’s independent strut suspension.
- Standard High Intensity Discharge headlights (vs. available) – All 370Zs have High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights that provide nearly twice the illumination of halogen headlights, with higher intensity and longer bulb life. HID headlights are available only in an option package on select Camaro models.
- Tilting instrument gauges – 370Z’s instrument cluster moves with the steering column as it tilts up and down for an unobstructed view of the gauges. Camaro does not offer this feature.
- Available front-seat Active Head Restraints – The design of 370Z Coupe’s front-seat Active Head Restraints may help reduce whiplash neck injuries in certain rear-end collisions. Camaro does not offer this feature.

2019 CHEVROLET CAMARO OVERVIEW
Camaro is Chevrolet’s rear-wheel-drive muscle car, currently in its 6th generation. It is available in coupe and convertible models.
Coupe LS and LT models come with a 275-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. LT models also have an available 335-hp 3.6-liter V6 engine, while SS models come with a 455-hp 6.2-liter V8. The ZL1 comes with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that produces 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. All engines are available with the choice of a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
Camaro is a modern update of the American muscle car with an available V8 engine for impressive straight-line acceleration. But it’s also a large and heavy vehicle. In contrast, 370Z is a true sports car that offers both impressive straight-line performance and agile handling. 370Z also offers sophisticated performance features that Camaro can’t match.
Camaro carries over with the following changes:
- Revised front and rear styling that includes: front fascia (specific fascia and headlamp designs for LS, LT, and RS), dual-element headlamps, LED signature lighting, hood, LED taillamps
- Turbo 1LE package that includes:
- 2.0L turbo engine
- FE3 suspension with larger-diameter front and rear stabilizer bars, specifically tuned dampers, stiffer rear cradle bushings, and cross-axis ball joints in the rear tow links that enhance lateral stiffness
- SS-style split front/rear tire sizes: P245/40 R20 (front) and P275/35 R20 (rear)
- Heavy-duty brake package with low-metallic performance pads
- Track Mode added to Driver Mode Selector with Competition Mode that includes performance instrument readouts, launch control, and shift lights
- Available Recaro seats, suede flat-bottom steering wheel, and suede shift knob
- New 20-inch wheel design for RS package
- Revised Chevrolet Infotainment systems featuring 7-inch or 8-inch color touch-screen
- Revised ambient interior lighting with new color choices
